A Taste of Tribal Have you ever wondered why those tribal belly dance girls seem to be having so much fun? With a delicious combination of spicy moves, the zesty challenge of improvisation and the warm feelings of community, it’s no wonder! DeAnn will share with you several basic tribal moves along with tribal formation concepts that will get you started on your own tribal journey. Come take a bite out of tribal and get a taste of the fun for yourself! Beginners welcome, too! Register by May 2nd: $25 Postmarked after May 2nd: $30 |

About DeAnn DeAnn Hamilton is a classically trained lifelong dancer. She branched out in the early eighties with belly dance and felt right at home with this body friendly, feminine dance form. For several years she focused her energies on mostly cabaret style, until stumbling on a tribal performance by inFusion at one of Hasani’s Haflas several years ago. Smitten, she began attending classes in Seattle with Sharon Moore and soon completed her teacher training certification with Paulette of Gypsy Caravan in Portland, Oregon. She was also recently certified in General Skills with Carolena Nariccio, director of FatChanceBellyDance. DeAnn’s joyful teaching style is an inspiration to her students. She loves connecting with her tribal sisters and truly enjoys directing her tribal fusion student troupe; Tribal Elements. |
